How long is the StarCard online application process?

What are the documents I should get ready?

Basic documents include scanned copies of your HKID card or Passport, vehicle registration document, address verification and income proof.

How do I sign on the online application form?

You don't have to sign anything to submit this StarCard online application form.

When will my application be approved and when can I receive my StarCard?

You may get your StarCard within two weeks.
Take note that an application not supported with required documents or with incomplete information will cause a delay in processing. "

How can I settle my bill payment?

Settle via Autopay.
If your payment method is Autopay, you will receive an email from us with the instruction on how to submit the Autopay authorization physical form. Take note that the requirement to submit Autopay authorization physical form is the current industry practice by Hong Kong's financial institutions. 

When do I need to settle the fuel payment?

With the designated credit limit approved for your StarCard account, you do not need to pay cash upfront when you purchase fuel at Caltex station. You can enjoy up to 45 days repayment term, and settle the monthly payment by the specified payment due date.

Any late payment charge?

If you fail to fully pay for all the moneys due and payable under the Account on a payment due date, 1% of the overdue amount will be charged as administration fee.

What should I do if I lost my StarCard?

Can I share my StarCard with family and friends?

It is highly recommended that you safeguard your own StarCard for vehicle-specific use. Sharing your card can lead to unauthorized purchases go unnoticed. It is best to refer your family and friends to apply for StarCard and enjoy the discount offers together.

Any expiry date for StarCard?

Your StarCard will be auto-renewed every 5 years. Inactive StarCard for more than 12 months will not be renewed.
