We collect personal information about you as part of providing you with the CaltexGO mobile application (the 'Application') and the Caltex Rewards loyalty program and benefits (the 'Loyalty Program').
We will collect your full name, email address, mobile phone number, birth month and year, details of how you use the Application (including features you use) and information about your visits to Caltex service stations (including the location of the station and amounts you spend on fuel and other purchases). We will usually collect information directly from you, including when you create or log into your account for the Application and the Loyalty Program. We also collect some information automatically, such as your device's IP address.
We collect, use and disclose your personal information to register your account (including confirming you are not a minor), to identify nearby Caltex service stations for you, to provide you with Loyalty Program rewards (including discounts, competitions and other benefits), to provide receipts after any transactions you undertake at our service stations, to undertake research and development (including to analyse how customers use our products and services), to improve our products and services, to communicate with you about your account (including providing statements and other notices), to tell you about other products or services that may be of interest to you (including, with your consent, to send marketing communications and notifications to you), to help us manage your account and for the purposes otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy. Depending on the circumstances, we may also collect, use and disclose information about you to consider concerns you raise with us and where otherwise required or authorised by law.
If you do not provide your personal information to us, you may not be able to use our Application, you may not be able to receive the Loyalty Program benefits and we may not be able to keep you informed of special promotions.
We disclose your personal information to our related companies, to our third party service providers who help us provide the Application or our Loyalty Program or who support our business operations and to the other third parties set out in our Privacy Policy. Some of these recipients might be located overseas or may store your information outside of Australia, including in the United States of America, Singapore, the Philippines and Japan.
