HOW IT WORKS

Make your basket count. Proceeds from the following items (see below) will contribute towards Caltex Chong Pang's Fuel My Community fund. In December, Caltex will donate this fund to a deserving cause driven and determined by the community support. Look out for products bearing our Fuel My Community Mark.

Thereafter, vote or nominate a deserving cause. CHoose a charitable cause that will make the most difference in our neighbourhood. The cause to receive the most votes will go into the running to support from the Fuel My Community fund. Voting and nominations end 30 September, and can be cast every visit.

Terms and conditions

Chevron Singapore Pte Ltd (“Chevron”) will donate up to $5,000 for
qualifying purchases at Caltex Chong Pang Star Mart to fund a charitable
community cause benefiting the communities of Nee Soon Central and Chong Pang under the Caltex Chong Pang’s Fuel My Community (“Community Campaign).

A Qualifying Purchase means eligible products purchased at the Caltex Chong Pang Star Mart in which 10% of proceeds will be contributed towards the Community Campaign, during the campaign period. Qualifying Purchase products include:

New Moon Premium Fragrant Rice 5kg;

Gardenia Enriched White Bread 400g;

Meiji Fresh Milk 2L;

Alamo Spring Water 600ml;

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup 34g;

Calbee Big Bag Hot & Spicy 180g.

 

The Community Campaign Period will begin on 7 January, 2017 and is scheduled to end on 30 September, 2017 (the "Community Campaign Period"). Funds will be disbursed in a date to be announced in December 2017.

Chevron reserves the right to amend the dates of the Community Campaign Period at its discretion.

The Community Campaign will utilize the Customer Smart Feedback tool for feedback of Customer Service at the Caltex Chong Pang service station to collect votes and nominations on a charitable community cause.

No purchase is necessary to submit a vote or nomination.

To participate, a participant is required to submit their service rating feedback including their vote/nomination of a charitable cause via Smart Feedback online after using a smart phone to scan a QR Code on our Promotion Poster located at Caltex. 

Each participant is entitled to no more than one entry per week.  Incomplete or inaccurate entries will be disqualified.

The Community Campaign donation will be capped at $5,000, unless otherwise stipulated by Chevron. Qualifications for charitable organizations nominated include: organization must be a registered Singapore charity or institute of public character (IPC), not an individual. Charitable causes that do not support Chong Pang or Nee Soon Central, as determined by Chevron, are not eligible. The “winning” charitable cause will be  determined on the basis of the highest number of votes cast by Community Campaign participants for each charitable cause during the Community Campaign Period , subject to Chevron’s final approval of a community partner that will meet the nominated community need.

 

Chevron employees and station staff, including Station Managers, Cashiers and Pump Attendants are not eligible to participate in this Communit Campaign.

 

By participating in the Community Campaign, the participants are deemed
to have consented to the use and disclosure of their personal data (including their names, mobile telephone numbers, mailing addresses, email addresses) to Chevron for marketing and publicity purposes whether related to the Community Campaign or otherwise. The participant acknowledges that Chevron is authorized to process his/her personal data provided pursuant to this Community Campaign in accordance with its data privacy policy. All decisions made by Chevron in respect of the Community Campaign are
final and no correspondence or queries shall be entertained. These terms and conditions are subject to change in Chevron’s sole discretion. Chevron reserves the right to change the Items, the Community Campaign mechanics or cancel the Community Campaign entirely at any time without any liability or prior notice. By taking part in this Community Campaign, the Community Campaign participant acknowledges that he/she has read and consented to these terms & conditions.
