    ShanghaiTech University sought to extend oil drain intervals (ODIs) beyond the 1,500-hour benchmark achieved with industry-standard oils in their Jenbacher engine.
     
     
    They aimed to evaluate HDAX 9300's performance in terms of ODI, oil consumption, and base number retention.
