KUALA LUMPUR, February 9, 2011 – The Caltex™ service station in Bandar Puteri, Klang has come out tops in Majlis Perbandaran Klang’s (MPK) Food Premises and Petrol Station Cleanliness Competition 2010.
The Caltex™ service station, operated by Vanity Way Sdn Bhd, received a Certificate of Excellence and a trophy from MPK after being declared the winner in the competition’s Petrol Station category. The award was presented recently at a ceremony officiated by Selangor State Executive Committee member Ronnie Liu.
“We are proud to have received this award from MPK. It is testimony to our focus on providing quality services and cleanliness is a key component of our offerings. A clean service station makes for safe and pleasant surroundings for our customers,” said Choy Wai Kien, Station Manager of the service station.
The competition involved inspections of petrol stations by MPK officers, who evaluated the inspected sites according to a grading scheme established by the Majlis Perbandaran Klang.
