It has been brought to the attention of Chevron South Africa (Pty) Ltd that fraudsters are contacting members of the public claiming that they have won a lottery and/or cash rewards involving Chevron’s name in connection with this non-existent lottery. The perpetrators of these attempts at fraud may make contact through telephone calls, e-mails or SMS’s.
The public should note that neither Chevron South Africa (Pty) Ltd, nor the Chevron Corporation have any connection with such lotteries or promises of cash rewards. Chevron strongly condemns these unscrupulous actions and urges members of the public to be cautious and if contacted in this manner to not respond or to volunteer any personal information to the caller.

Chevron will appreciate your assistance in stopping these dishonest activities by obtaining as much information from the caller as possible and providing this to Chevron.
