Under the auspices of the Tshwane University of Technology, the Tsebo Koloing Project (translated means “Technology in Motion”) is a collaborative project involving the University of Pretoria, Technikon Pretoria and Technikon Northern Gauteng. A mobile science unit brings the wonders of modern science and engineering to poorer communities within Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the Northern Province. Chevron here in South Africa is committed to investing educational outreach programmes such as these as it is an investment in the development of South Africa’s future scientists and engineers.
